-         Anon
Reflection : this means that choosing what’s right can bring you a lot of happeness with your inerbeing and conscience. Doing what’s wrong may seem like it gives you pleasure or “ happiness “ but in the long run it will only lead to fatality with your inbeing.

Academic success : part 2

Academic Success : part 2
In high school I was one of the good students who didn’t  really have to study to be a good student. the information I usually took in class sunk is enough for me to understand it for the test by simply reviewing the material just before the class began. it wasn’t that I didn’t try , I ad a 4.0 all through out high school, never really had to put forth much of an effort to get the results that I wanted to see. in college , however that changed. not only did I start studying  and reading the book but I began to understand that the little tiny facts was just as important as the general concepts. my overall study method ; do all the reading that is required for all the classes, and try to keep up. if I do fall behind, ill usually use the reading that I did not get to an additional study aid. I take good notes in class and actually attend everyday that I can.  sometimes in Volleyball it’s tough because we are on the road a lot. but if I do miss class because of volleyball I make sure to take the notes from another student in the class. also, for subjects such as chemistry, I do practice problems to help me understand whet the material means.

Student success statement

Student Success Statement :

“ ligh and darkness can’t occupy the same space at the same time. CTR is light-CTW is darkness”
-          CALL/ Mr.Haymore

Reflection :

Choosing the right brings sunshine to your life , it brings a positive anticipation. When a person chooses the wrong it will bring them problems and darkness to their world.

Academic success : part 1

Academic success
Part 1
My great academic success: In my principle of marketing class, we had to come up with a new product and sell it. My group ended up with a couple supposedly bad students according to our teacher  .
since they were the last one to pick. Delegating work always helps since it allows a group member individual work without separating the group.
In the end, they helped out more than needed since I was the team leader I assigned them certain pieces of the project that became solely their responsibility.
English, math, foreign language tips. Math basically just takes practice. I always tell student to take a blank piece of paper and write everything you know and what you learned or what your stuying for in the class. if you don’t rember everything or start drawing blanks, then you need to study more and review your notes. Notes card work really well for foreign language. Here are my final words of wisdom for students who want to get better grades in college: go to class, make friends with people in your class because just in case your absent, and remember that you should want to learn.

Drug abuse in teens

REFLECTION :

Most alchocol and drug abuse stats in your teen years. i think this is very scary to see that many teen and classmates of mine might have or will use drugs sometime in there life. drugs lead to an unhappy and unhealty life. knowing someone you know and care about use drugs is hard to see because drugs are just a poisin to your body that could only lead you to a rock bottom end.

Heather A.’s academic success story
In high school, I didn’t study as much in groups as I do in college. I feel I learn better when I can teach other people information and we can exchange notes taken in class because sometimes other students pick up on one more important information than others.
My overall study method: I prefer to study in small groups and practice problem where I can work out the methods verbally with others. My test study method: I have very different techniques. For financial tests, I try to work on problems given in class as well as problems from power points and homework. When it comes to marketing classes, I review my notes and try to make diagrams to describe different processes.

My time management secret: One of my biggest secrets is to look over the information that you just learned when class is over. After reviewing the information, it sticks a little bit better than waiting until the night before the test.

How I deal with multiple/test: I try to work on whatever has the shortest deadline and work from there. My overall study method: I tend to do massive studying blocks of about an hour or so in order to really learn the material.

Student sucess statement

Student success statement :

“ you have only always to do what is right. it will become easier by practice, and you enjoy in midst of your trials the pleasure of an approving conscience ”.
-       Robert E.Lee
What I think this quote means is that since you are little you know what is right & wrong but you decide what to do. The more time you pick to do what is right will help you change to a better person and picking the right choice will now be a routine. Also that if you do what is right you will have your conscience in peace.
